Hello everyone!
One more day of school until freedom! *claps hands excitedly*
I have some pictures of my dress, so I'll upload them as soon as I can...I can now, actually, but don't feel like looking for my camera cable.
In the mean time, I have a new mission!
http://www.venganza.org/
After investigating this website, my new ambition is to design and knit my own flying spaghetti monster! I have no idea how this will go - but it should be somewhat amusing.
Love y'all! Happy holidays (oh no! The Walmart people who now say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" are part of a resistance force intent on legalizing euthanasia, abortions, and men marrying box turtles) (long story)

Some updates and...gasp...Actual Knitting!
Hey everybody!
It's been a chaotic week, that's why I haven't been posting all that much. The teachers seem to be trying to cram as much crap in as possible before break. I have at least six tests or quizzes in the next two weeks. Should be fun. But still, I have time to knit. I'm in the process of knitting myself a hat. I don't have a decent winter one and I found a simple pattern that will go pretty quickly. It's a toboggan hat and you can find the pattern here:
http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Knitting/Projects/Accessories/WR1735+Knit+Toboggan+Hat.htm
I didn't use red heart yarn because I absolutely loathe it. I found this yarn lying around and decided that it would work pretty well.
And now, for some more pictures of hats! I have yet to get acquainted with the fine art of photography, so they're not too good, but you can get an idea.Another toboggan hat, this one from lionbrand. It's for my cousin for Christmas. Her favorite color, incidentally, is red.
Aida Costa's lovely lacy beret. One of my friends really wanted a beret for Christmas, so this is my gift to them.
This is Berocco's cap. It doesn't look at all like the picture provided, but it's still really cute. I made this for myself a while ago. It's the same yarn as the beret -lamb's pride, I think.
I'll try to keep updated. I have a ton of Christmas gifts I'm making. I'm also sewing a dress for our semi formal this Friday, so I can post a picture of that too when I'm done with it.
Love

So I know this is supposed to be a knitting blog...
But I felt that I had to share the joys of high school English projects. Yes, I did say HIGH SCHOOL. We had to create a three dimensional symbol representing ourselves. I thought we got over the clay and paint craze in, hmm...third grade. Apparently not. This is playdough. It's homemade play dough. It was incredibly sticky and got everywhere. But what can you do?
This is my lovely tree. It doesn't look anything like a tree. But we can pretend.
Some simple raw materials....
In progress....
Here it is! And it didn't even take all day!
This was quite a waste of time. What we do to please our English teachers.
I did manage to fall down the stairs as I was taking this to my classroom, so the two large branches fell off, which was a joy. Easy come, easy go, I guess. Still.
On a side note, I think my computer is dying.
Uh oh... There is definitely supposed to be a cover there. But it snapped off. And even gorilla glue couldn't fix it. So now, I have a gaping hole in my computer and the hinge has started to come out. Joy.
It hasn't been the worst day, actually. Still. This is dumb.
Love yall
